Hinged: Shutters hinge and open inward.
Recess Fit: Shutters are mounted on the inside of the window frame.
Sliding: Shutters slide from left to right or right to left using a tracking system.
Sizes
Shutters comes in three blade widths; 63mm, 89mm or 115mm. Most people opt for 89mm blades, or 115mm blades for larger, outdoor applications.
Price
It all depends on the size of your area, but shutters tend to be more expensive than your typical blind.
